MADISON, Wis. – It’s been a busy week of building back better for the Biden-Harris administration. On Tuesday, President Biden addressed the nation for his first State of the Union address, highlighting how his administration is creating good-paying jobs, investing in infrastructure, and protecting democracy and freedom at home and abroad.

On Wednesday, President Biden visited Superior, Wisconsin to tout the benefits of his once-in-a-generation infrastructure plan alongside Governor Evers and other leaders from across Wisconsin. This law will invest billions of federal dollars to rebuild our state’s roads and bridges, expand access to high-speed internet, and ensure every household, school, and business in Wisconsin has clean drinking water – all while easing supply chain bottlenecks, fighting climate change, and creating good-paying jobs.

Thanks to President Biden, Governor Evers, and Democrats in Congress, Wisconsin’s infrastructure will be stronger and safer than ever – with no thanks to the Wisconsin Republicans who put their own partisan interests over the families they’re supposed to represent when they voted against the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
