MADISON - Gov. Tony Evers announced today that he is seeking applicants for the Wisconsin Court of Appeals – District I.
The appointment will fill a vacancy being created by Judge Joan Kessler’s retirement, effective February 7, 2020. The new judge will complete a term ending July 31, 2021.
District I consists solely of Milwaukee County.

The new appointee will fill the vacancy created by the resignation of District Attorney Timothy C. Baxter, effective January 3, 2020. The new appointee will serve for the remainder of the unexpired term that ends January 2021.
