GREEN BAY, WI - I, like so many others, am deeply saddened by the passing of Heidi Hussli. Her loss will be felt by her family, friends, students, fellow teachers and colleagues, and the entire community.

Heidi was a devoted teacher who loved and inspired her students. Her dedication to the young people she taught and her commitment to provide them with a great education in these difficult times cannot be overstated.

With nearly 200,000 lives lost to COVID-19 it is important that we remember that behind that number are real people like Heidi, who led important lives, cared for their families and loved ones, and contributed to our community, state and nation. It is my hope that everyone will take this moment and reflect on the seriousness of this moment and commit themselves to doing everything possible to keep themselves and others safe.
