http://newiprogressive.com/images/stories/S5/clean-air-s5.jpg GREEN BAY – On Nov. 6 at 5 p.m., college students from UW-Green Bay, St. Norbert, and Northeast Wisconsin Technical College will convene to consider Brown County’s environmental future. In spring 2019, UW-Green Bay’s Student Government Association committed to achieving 100 percent carbon-free energy by 2045, joining the City of Green Bay in a similar commitment to achieve 100 percent clean energy by 2050.
During the listening session, students concerned about their climate future will share their insights, ideas, and collaborate to further address climate resiliency and clean energy in northeast Wisconsin. WHAT: Student Listening Session on the environment hosted by Wisconsin Conservation Voters and UW-Green Bay’s Student Government Association. WHEN: At 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6.
