“I do want to thank Rep. Brooks (R-59), for working with me during committee to submit and pass an amendment for AB 455. My amendment allows an individual who already resides in a unit that will be converted to a condominium with the grant in this bill, the ability to also submit an offer. I left committee excited and hopeful to continue working across the aisle. “While I appreciate the majority party’s work on the legislation we voted on today, there is more work to be done. We need to continue talking with stakeholders, finding creative solutions and allowing time for collaboration across the aisle. I will continue to advocate for policies that will make housing more affordable, available and stable for working families. |
