His budget invests in education at every level—from early childhood to technical colleges and the UW System. It also ensures no child goes hungry through Universal Free School Breakfast and Lunch and allocates nearly $300 million to expand mental health services in schools. Lastly, Governor Evers’ has allocated over $6 million to water well decontamination and lead poisoning prevention.

“Thanks to Governor Evers’, Wisconsin is in an extraordinary financial position. I am particularly pleased to see several key requests for our district included in this budget. This plan not only addresses our immediate needs but also lays a foundation for future generations.”
