Appleton Representative likes significant investment in mental health, child care and public schools in 2025-2027 Biennial Budget.
MADISON, WI. — Last evening, Governor Evers delivered his biennial budget address, highlighting Wisconsinites’ priorities for the upcoming 2025-2027 budget. In response, Representative Lee Snodgrass (D-52, Appleton) issued the following statement:
“A strong and significant investment in Wisconsin’s children and families, whether it be easing the cost of child care, ensuring mental health accessibility, or making sure public schools are funded to support the needs of all students, this budget bill makes clear that Wisconsin values the next generation. I strongly support Governor Evers’ budget proposal and his plan for Wisconsin. When we ensure that families are supported and kids are cared for, communities thrive. I look forward to lifting up budget specifics and hearing from community members in the upcoming weeks on their budget priorities.”
