MADISON, Wis. – Today, with 10 weeks to go until the April 1st election, Judge Susan Crawford’s campaign for the Wisconsin Supreme Court launched its first two ads as part of an initial statewide seven-figure broadcast and cable buy. The campaign’s first ad, titled ‘Common Sense,’ highlights Judge Crawford’s record as a prosecutor, attorney, and judge, and her commitment to being fair, impartial, and always doing the right thing for Wisconsin.

Judge Crawford’s campaign also released ‘Never,’ which underscores Brad Schimel’s extreme and political agenda and record of failing on public safety – from letting over 6,000 sexual assault kits sit untested for more than two years, to letting domestic abusers walk with no jail time, to giving a plea deal to a man caught with thousands of files of child pornography after getting campaign contributions from the man’s lawyer. Brad Schimel is too extreme for Wisconsin, and this April, voters will reject him once again.

‘Common Sense’: Watch here and see the transcript below.

VO: Susan Crawford, she’s the prosecutor who locked up violent criminals.

The judge who’s kept them off the streets.

And the leader who fought for abortion rights.

On the Supreme Court, she’ll look at the facts and uphold the law.

Fair. Impartial. Common Sense.

That’s Judge Susan Crawford.

Judge Crawford: For me, being a Judge is really pretty simple.

There’s right and there’s wrong. And I’ll always do the right thing for Wisconsin.

‘Never’: Watch here and see the transcript below.

VO: Brad Schimel.

He let 6,000 rape kits sit untested for two years, while survivors waited for justice.

Schimel let domestic abusers walk with no jail time.

And he’s so corrupt, he gave a plea deal to a man caught with thousands of files of child pornography – featuring children as young as six – after getting thousands in campaign contributions from the man’s lawyer.

That’s Brad Schimel. Too extreme for the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
