Green Bay, WI — Last week, Jamie Wall was sworn into his first term as Senator for Wisconsin’s 30th Senate District. The ceremony took place in the Wisconsin State Capitol’s Senate Chambers, where he joined five other new members of the Senate Democratic Caucus.

Senator Wall serves as the Ranking Member of the Committee on Insurance, Housing, Rural Issues and Forestry and also serves on the Joint Committee on Information Policy and Technology and the Joint Legislative Council.  He is a member of the board of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, as well as a member of the Council on Workforce Investment and the Council on Forestry.

“Serving on these committees is one way to give back to the people who elected me,” said Wall.  “I talked to thousands of voters over the course of my campaign.  They told me again and again to work together with others to make their lives a little better, especially by addressing the cost of housing, healthcare, and childcare.  I look forward to working for them in Madison.”

Wisconsin’s 30th Senate District includes the City of De Pere, almost all of the City of Green Bay, the Villages of Allouez, Ashwaubenon, and Bellevue, and parts of the Towns of Ledgeview and Rockland.
