Wisconsin Planned Parenthood Advocates President to Campaign at Team Harris-Walz event. EAU CLAIRE, WI - Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin President Tanya Atkinson will campaign for Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz on the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire campus Thursday as part of the campaign’s ‘Fighting for Reproductive Freedom’ bus tour. At the tour stop, Tanya Atkinson will mobilize UW-Eau Claire students and encourage them to take action by knocking on doors and phone banking for Vice President Harris, Gov. Walz, and Democrats up and down the ballot. Donald Trump says he is “proud” that he was able to “kill Roe v. Wade,” and calls the extreme abortion bans with no exceptions he unleashed “a beautiful thing to watch.” Atkinson will hold Trump accountable for this and call attention to his Project 2025 agenda, which would ban abortion nationwide, restrict access to birth control, allow states to report on women’s miscarriages and abortions, and threaten access to IVF. Atkinson will be joined by content creator Annie Wu as part of the campaign’s continued outreach to engage and mobilize students in this election. The stop in Eau Claire is part of the national ‘Fighting for Reproductive Freedom’ bus tour barnstorming the country throughout the fall. The tour will make at least 60 stops in key states, including stops in Madison, Green Bay, Sheboygan, Menomonee Falls, and Waukesha and one in Duluth (Superior market) over the past week, with support for reproductive rights transcending party lines.
