MADISON, Wis. — Last week, Oshkosh-area state legislator Michael Schraa took to Twitter to lash out against critics of the Assembly GOP’s shared revenue plan.

Apparently upset by a recent column breaking down the Assembly GOP’s plan and its impact on Wisconsin municipalities, Schraa bizarrely told one critic to “come on up out of your Moms dark dank basement bud” and referred to them as “another blow hard lib who probably is still living in mommy’s basement.”

“Michael Schraa’s bizarre online meltdown reflects the chaos we’ve come to expect from Robin Vos and his Assembly GOP caucus,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin Communications Director Joe Oslund. “Insulated by a gerrymandered majority, Republican politicians like Michael Schraa are extreme, out of touch, and incapable of responding to even glancing criticism without childish insults about living in ‘mommy’s basement.’ Michael Schraa’s social media meltdown is yet another example of the Robin Vos chaos caucus hard at work.”
