voter-us-electionsToday is Election Day, get out to vote. The League of Women Voters gives you some tools to help.

MADISON - February 21 is Election Day! Wisconsin voters are casting their ballots for the candidates of their choice. If you haven't yet, use your voice and GO VOTE!

We bet a lot of you already voted. That's awesome! Forward this email to three friends to make sure they have the information they need to cast a ballot today.

1. Check to see if you are registered to vote. If not, you can register or update your address at your polling place! Make sure you bring a proof of residence document for registration and a valid photo ID to vote. This could be a Wisconsin driver's license, tribal ID, etc.

Am I registered?
2. Know what's on your ballot. Find a sample ballot on MyVote.Wi.Gov. Not sure who to vote for? VOTE411 has you covered with unbiased candidate information in English and Spanish.

Judicial and local elections in the spring are nonpartisan. Candidates will not have a D or R next to their names on the ballot. You may vote for one candidate. The two candidates who receive the most votes will advance to the April 4 Election.

3. Find your polling place. If you are voting in-person on Election Day, make sure you bring a valid photo ID and know where your polling place is. All polling locations are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and once you are in line, stay in line.
Find My Polling Place
Are you voting absentee and still have your ballot? You must return it by 8 p.m. today (2/21). It's too late to mail it and drop boxes are prohibited. Plan on dropping it off yourself at your clerk's office, or clerk-designated return locations on Election Day (like your polling place or central count location for communities that use central count)

People with disabilities have the right to receive assistance with all aspects of voting, including having someone deliver their ballot to their clerk or polling place. Questions or issues? Contact the Disability Rights WI Voter Hotline at 844-347-8683.
