MADISON - The Democratic Party of Wisconsin is out with a new radio ad today contrasting the Republican Party's war on women - led by a man who brags about sexual assault - to the Democrats' long record of fighting for Wisconsin women.

The ad lays out a clear choice on November 8th between a nation that treats women with respect and dignity versus one that denigrates and insults them.

Republicans like Senator Johnson and Donald Trump have insulted and turned their backs on Wisconsin women. The ad reminds listeners that “time and again Republicans have worked against women,” opposing equal pay for equal work, fighting to defund Planned Parenthood, and nominating a man for president who bragged about sexual assault.

Democrats like Hillary Clinton and Russ Feingold on the other hand have led the fight for equal pay and pushed for tougher penalties for violence against women. If we want a government that will protect women's rights, Wisconsinites need to say no to Republicans' failed record on November 8th and vote Democratic up and down the ticket.
