GREEN BAY - On Friday, Russ Feingold, candidate for U.S. Senate, culminated the “Listening To You In All 72” tour, a weeklong, statewide trip leading up to the Democratic Party of Wisconsin 2016 State Convention. In his address to the convention, Russ spoke about the lessons he has learned from listening to Wisconsin’s middle and working class families while traveling to all 72 counties in the state.

Despite the challenges many still face, Wisconsin families are optimistic about the future and want leaders who will listen to and fight for them.

Russ laid out a positive vision for Wisconsin's middle class and working families -- one that includes an increase in the federal minimum wage, paid family leave, affordable higher education, true retirement security, and an end to disastrous trade deals that ship Wisconsin jobs overseas.

The “Listening To You In All 72” tour touched the week traveling the entire state and featured crowds of hundreds of excited Wisconsinites. On Tuesday, Russ stopped in Superior, Hudson, Eau Claire, and La Crosse, on Wednesday, Russ visited Wausau and Madison, where he officially filed candidacy for U.S. Senate after collecting over 9,000 signatures from all 72 counties, and on Thursday, Russ visited Milwaukee, Racine, and Beloit.

Since Russ announced his candidacy for U.S. Senate, Russ has visited each of Wisconsin’s 72 counties, hearing firsthand that middle class and hardworking families are having trouble making ends meet, and Wisconsinites need a senator who stands up for the interests of all Wisconsinites.
