WISCONSIN -- Sen. Tammy Baldwin is endorsing a slate of candidates for the Wisconsin Assembly this week to secure Democratic victories across the state. This expanded slate of candidates will help lead efforts this November to expand Democratic strength in the State Legislature.

The candidates include Kathy Hinkfuss (AD 4), Sara Rodriguez (AD 13), Jessica Katzenmeyer (AD 15), Erik Brooks (AD 21), Emily Siegrist (AD 24), Sarah Yacoub (AD 30), Kriss Marion (AD 51), Emily Berge (AD 68), Jacob Malinowski (AD 82), Kristin Lyerly (AD 88), Amanda White-Eagle (AD 92), and Josefine Jaynes (AD 96).

The following is a statement from Sen. Tammy Baldwin:

tammy_baldwin“I am excited to endorse this group of excellent Assembly candidates -- for too long hardworking Wisconsinites have been undermined by Republican leadership that puts partisan politics over the lives of our neighbors. For the last 180 days, we have watched Assembly Republicans take cues from Trump as they’ve refused to produce a plan to address the COVID pandemic and have sought to thwart Gov. Evers’ ability to respond to the coronavirus pandemic. It is vital that we work up and down the ballot to make our government more representative of our shared values, and I couldn’t be prouder to endorse this group of Assembly candidates to take back the legislature, improve the lives of all Wisconsinites, and build toward a brighter future for our state.”
