johnsonMIDDLETON - The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and Capital Times Editorial boards have called out Sen. Ron Johnson for refusing to do his job regarding the Supreme Court Vacancy.  Johnson has fallen in line behind Mitch McConnell by promising to block any nominee President Obama nominates and continues to suggest that America would be best served by political obstructionism and a vacancy on the high court until 2017.

Republicans, including Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, who faces a difficult re-election battle this fall against former Sen. Russ Feingold, have quickly closed ranks around McConnell. Johnson's statement Sunday echoed McConnell.

“While it’s no surprise that Sen. Johnson wants to shirk his constitutional responsibility, the people of Wisconsin want a senator who will actually do his job.  Unfortunately, Johnson refuses to listen to Wisconsinites and prefers taking his cues from Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell.” – Michael Tyler, Communications Director
