MADISON, Wis. — Wednesday, Democratic Party of Wisconsin officially announced its 2024 State Convention—Fighting For Our Freedoms. The 2024 WisDems State Convention will be hosted in Milwaukee on June 8th and 9th at the Potawatomi Casino Hotel.

Wisconsin Democrats gathering in Milwaukee will conduct important party business, including adoption of the party’s 2024 platform and election of members to the Democratic National Convention.

“The eyes of the political world will be on Milwaukee this summer. Milwaukee will host not one, but two party conventions: the Republican anti-freedom festival in July, and the Democratic Party of Wisconsin’s state convention in June. We’re ready to remind Wisconsinites that there’s only one party fighting to defend their freedoms—and it’s not the one led by the man responsible for overturning Roe v. Wade,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Ben Wikler. “This fight won’t be easy, but we’ve been building for this moment—this election—for years now. We look forward to welcoming folks to Milwaukee as we gear up to reelect President Biden, Vice President Harris, and Senator Baldwin, and to elect Democrats across Wisconsin to continue the fight for our freedoms.”
