supreme-courtGREEN BAY, WI - It is no surprise that the U.S. Supreme Court has sided with the Republicans on the issue of gerrymandering. Just as it is no surprise that the State Supreme Court routinely sides with the Republicans on cases related to the preservation of or limitations on the GOP’s political power.

dave_hansenThe era of non-partisan impartiality and ruling on the law has long been over with the appointment and election of activist conservative judges on our highest courts and our state and nation are worse off for it.

Because we can no longer trust either court to do what is best for the people with respect to ending political gerrymandering by either party it is important now more than ever to continue the fight to pass non-partisan redistricting in Wisconsin, a change to the law that is supported by over 70% of Wisconsin voters.
