walkerWAUKESHA, WI - On Day of Gov. Scott Walker’s Presidential announcement here, Citizen Action of Wisconsin and the Center for American Progress Action Fund released a report detailing Walker’s extraordinary efforts to sabotage the Affordable Care Act in Wisconsin.

The two non-partisan health care advisory groups released Report detailing Walker’s health care record during during a statewide media call at noon Monday. Embargoed copies can be made available upon request.

Although Walker’s vehement and highly unpopular opposition to Medicaid expansion is well-known, many of his other aggressive efforts to take affordable health coverage away from tens of thousands of Wisconsinites have flown below the radar screen of the national media.

Governor Walker not only opposes the Affordable Care Act, he has done virtually everything in the power of his office to subvert its implementation, threatening the health coverage of tens of thousands of his own constituents. Speakers on the media call will detail Walker’s life-threatening record of health care nullification, providing evidence and sources for follow up stories.
