Sen. Shilling releases PSA on hunter safety ahead of deer hunting.

LA CROSSE, WI – In an effort to promote hunter safety this fall, Senator Jennifer Shilling (D-La Crosse) released a 30 second public service announcement encouraging individuals to follow firearm safety tips.

“Hi, this is State Senator Jennifer Shilling. Are you planning to get out and enjoy one of our many hunting opportunities this fall? If so, you can help make this an injury-free season in Wisconsin.

“Treat every firearm as if it is loaded, and always point the muzzle in a safe direction. Remember to confirm your target, as well as what is beyond it.
