WASHINGTON, D.C. - House Democrats on Friday unveiled new details in their impeachment investigation, releasing the interview transcripts from two career national security officials who had testified about President Trump’s contacts with Ukraine.

The airing of the depositions — providing the verbatim details of investigators’ private interviews last month with Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman and Fiona Hill — will cap off a week in which Democrats have allowed the drip-drip of new information to maintain attention around impeachment even as multiple witnesses have refused to appear, and as the impeachment inquiry begins its public phase next week.
