vote-47-mbThe three candidates running for the 30th Senate District seat, presently held by Senator Dave Hansen, will be “live-streamed” on Monday, July 13 starting at 10 a.m. Questions may be submitted in advance by email.


GREEN BAY - The League of Women Voters of Greater Green Bay (LWVGGB) is presenting its first Virtual Candidate Forum on Monday, July 13, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with candidates for the 30th Senate District participating. The Virtual Candidate Forum will take place at the Brown County Central Library, 515 Pine Street in Green Bay with just the candidates, time keeper, moderator, videographer and NO AUDIENCE present at the Library.

sandra-ewaldThe three candidates running for the 30th Senate District seat, presently held by Senator Dave Hansen who is not seeking re-election, are Sandra Ewald, Jonathon Hansen and Eric Wimberger. They will be present and practicing strict social distancing. The Virtual Candidate Forum will be “live-streamed” and will be available for viewing on the League of Women Voters of Greater Green Bay Facebook page. Questions will be collected by the League and presented through the Forum moderator. All questions must be presented for all the candidates to answer.

jonathon-hansen“The League has moved to Virtual Candidate Forums to protect the community while ensuring the opportunity to participate in the election process,” said Karen Schley the LWVGGB Forum coordinator. This is the first Virtual Candidate Forum but there are a number of other Virtual Candidate Forums in the works between now and prior to the General Election in November.
