Public events part of kick-off for the 2019 Inauguration weekend

Event precedes official inauguration at the State Capitol in Madison on Monday.

EAU CLAIRE - On Friday, January 4th, Rep.-elect Jodi Emerson (D-Eau Claire) will be sworn in as the next State Representative for the 91^st Assembly District at an in-district ceremony ahead of Monday’s inauguration at the State Capitol in Madison. The event will take place at the Eau Claire County Courthouse, and Judge Sarah Harless will preside.

As a person who has a background in community advocacy, I believe firmly that being a State Representative is about being an advocate for my community and I will do my best to work every day for the people of the 91st. As we enter our first session of divided government in nearly a decade, I hope all elected officials are able to come together to work for the people of Wisconsin.”
