More Americans have quality health care than ever before, and millions more are saving money on prescription drugs and health insurance thanks to leadership from President Biden, Vice President Harris, Senator Tammy Baldwin, and Democrats. But while President Biden is bringing down costs and expanding access to health care, Donald Trump wants to take that quality, affordable care away.

Green Bay, WI—Today, Professor and Green Bay Equal Rights Commissioner Jon Shelton announced his candidacy for the 4th district of Green Bay’s Common Council.
Shelton, who is professor and Chair of Democracy and Justice Studies at UW-Green Bay, is also the elected president of UWGB-United, the campus’s faculty and staff union, and a current member of Green Bay’s first ever Equal Rights Commission. In his capacity as Vice-Chair of the ERC, Shelton has worked to advance LGBTQ+ equality and equal access to housing for everyone who lives in our city. He is running to extend that work to the council chambers and to elect the kind of city council that truly reflects the values of the residents of Green Bay.
