gb-vote1-47Wisconsin voters deserve to know what happened to the ballots that were lost or misplaced, says Green Bay area Assemblyman.

MADISON – Wednesday, Representative Gruszynski joined fellow state legislators in signing a letter to the USPS Inspector General. The letter requests for an investigation into the issues associated with USPS and the absentee ballots in Wisconsin’s April 7 election. Representative Gruszynski (D-Green Bay) released the following statement regarding the request:

staush-gruszynski“Wisconsin voters deserve to know what happened to the ballots that were lost or misplaced and that it will never happen again. I have heard from constituents who were effectively disenfranchised as a result of this election, and as legislators we should request an investigation from the inspector general to ensure security and transparency moving forward. With an upcoming August primary and November general election, we must ensure that every Wisconsin voter has the ability to cast their ballot and protect their health during a public health crisis. This is just one step in that process.”
