voter-id-primariesMADISON - LWVWI filed necessary papers to join the lawsuit to prevent Wisconsin voters from being removed from the registration lists due to the process of identifying voters for removal is erroneous. LWVWI supports efforts to keep the state's voter rolls updated and accurate, and believes removing people from the voter rolls should only be done with reliable information. In an effort to protect voters, LWVWI has filed a motion to intervene to stop Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty forcing the Wisconsin Election Commission to remove voters from the rolls. (See image below.)  They were mailed out in October, but may have arrived at different times.
