State Legislature celebrates team after Division I State Championship

MADISON – Today, Representative Gordon Hintz (D-Oshkosh) honored the 2019 Oshkosh North High School softball team's undefeated season and State Division 1 Championship. On June 8, 2019, the Oshkosh North Spartans defeated the Sun Prairie Cardinals in the State High School Division 1 softball title game.

Representative Gordon Hintz (D-Oshkosh) released the following statement:

“This team defined excellence with an undefeated season and a state title. Our entire community is so proud to have another state championship coming home to Oshkosh. These things don’t just happen, and I congratulate the players and coaching staff for their dedication and hard work. This is an accomplishment they will remember forever. As a proud Oshkosh North alumnus, I couldn’t be happier to honor the Spartans in the State Assembly today.”
