"Today’s poll comes on the first day of the general election and is a reminder of the clear choice Wisconsinites face between Russ, who is focused on fighting for the middle class and working families of this state, and Sen. Johnson who continues to ignore Wisconsinites in favor of corporate interests and the billionaires backing his reelection bid. Sen. Johnson has spent years in Washington working to protect a system that props up multi-millionaires like himself and powerful corporations that ship jobs overseas.

Johnson will spend the next 90 days doing what he's done his entire time in Washington: serving the oil billionaires, corporate interests, and Washington insiders who fund the super PACs backing his reelection bid. Russ will continue to listen to the people of Wisconsin in all 72 counties of this state who want leaders who will fight for an increase in the federal minimum wage, oppose disastrous trade deals like the TPP, and protect the retirement security of Wisconsin’s seniors.
