GREEN BAY - The Women's Empowerment Center Internship is a 15-20 hour per week unpaid position which includes overseeing the Women's Closet operations. This individual would ensure it operates in a consistent manner that is welcoming and safe for participants and volunteers while complying with the YWCA's mission and policies. Additional duties included: training and overseeing volunteers as well as showing appreciation towards volunteers and donors, light administrative duties, and other duties as assigned by their supervisor. The ideal candidate is an individual in pursuit of a bachelor degree in the human services or related field. Must provide excellent customer service in a culturally competent manner, to stand for long periods of time, bend and lift, self-motivated and demonstrate the gift of encouragement, patience and service, reliability, and demonstrate strong org anizational and supervisory skills. The individual must be available May/June-August Tuesdays 1-4, Wednesdays 3-6, and Thursdays 4-7 with flexibility in additional hours. Visit our website to learn more about the Women's Closet. |
