occupational-therapistGREEN BAY - Cerebral Palsy, Inc. currently has an opening for a part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) at our Green Bay site. The primary role of the COTA is to provide services to children and adults enrolled in pediatric, adult and assistive communication technologies programming under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.

This role will be responsible for the implementation of plans of care developed by the Occupational Therapist and for programming support with speech generating devices, as well as, other therapeutic strategies utilized with the adult and pediatric clientele at the CP Center and compliance with associated protocols and documentation. The COTA will also be responsible for appropriate communication (verbal and written) with family members, insurance companies, physicians and vendors with supervision as needed by an Occupational Therapist.

An associate degree from a school accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association, involving two years of education and three to six months of clinical experience is required. In addition, the ideal candidate will have a current state license as a COTA or will be proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as a COTA.

Hours for this position are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9:00a.m.-3:30p.m.
