GREEN BAY - Brown County Human Services Department Child Protective Services is in need of volunteer drivers primarily for transporting children from foster homes, schools, or day care centers to visits with their parent at the Brown County Human Services Department or the parent’s home.  Some foster homes and respite care are located out of Brown County.  Volunteers are reimbursed $56.5 cents per mile round trip for all authorized transports.  Volunteers give their schedule of availability to the coordinator and will only be called for those days and times.  Drivers can pick and choose which trips to accept.  Drivers must submit to a background check, have a valid Wisconsin driver’s license, have a reliable vehicle, and possess the recommended $100,000.00 combined single limit auto insurance.  Car seats are provided by the department.  If interested, contact Glen Tilot at (920) 448-6023 or by email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
