MADISON – Today, workers at TruStage Financial Group, Inc. accepted a new labor agreement with the Office and Professional Employees International Union after over a year and a half of negotiations. State Senator Melissa Agard (D-Madison) released the following statement:

“I will always stand on the side of hard-working people who fight for what’s right. I applaud the OPEIU Local 39 members and TruStage for reaching this tentative agreement.

“Ensuring retroactive wage increases to last year and over the next four years, protecting integrity of health insurance, and establishing more workers under the union’s protection is good for everyone. Unions are the true equalizers of our society, and I will continue to support unions in our great state because I believe in better.”
