MADISON – Wisconsin Conservation Voters is launching a week of action to call on the U.S. Senate to pass the Build Back Better Act.

More than 65 percent of people in Wisconsin support the Build Back Better agenda. Wisconsin needs Build Back Better – it’s time for the Senate to finish the job and pass this bill.

wisconsin_farm_windmillThe Build Back Better Act will be the strongest action the United States has ever taken to combat the climate crisis. It will put the U.S. on track to save people $500 a year on their energy bills, cut climate pollution in half by 2030, invest directly in communities of color, and create good-paying union jobs.

Wisconsin Conservation Voters will engage communities on social media, call people around the state, and lobby elected officials to show the Senate that Wisconsin supports Build Back Better.

Build Back Better has changed as it moves through the legislative process, but we’re encouraged by Biden’s confidence in getting the climate provisions done and expect the Senate to act swiftly to deliver the most comprehensive version of Build Back Better possible.
