Forward Wisconsin hosts will visit communities across the state to meet with local stakeholders and highlight the Badger Bounceback Budget

MADISON – On Wednesday, the Assembly Democratic Members of the Joint Committee on Finance and Forward Wisconsin hosts announced a statewide tour to engage with the public in support of Governor Tony Evers’ proposed 2021-23 Wisconsin State Budget. State Representatives Evan Goyke (D-Milwaukee) and Greta Neubauer (D-Racine), along with their Democratic Assembly colleagues and various local stakeholders, will mobilize in every region of the state to highlight the impact of the Badger Bounceback Budget. Following the launch of this new public engagement initiative, Rep. Goyke and Rep. Neubauer offered the following remarks:

“The Badger Bounceback budget is a budget for all of Wisconsin. Initiatives and investments will reach every corner of the state and as members of the Joint Committee on Finance, so should we. That is why we will be touring the state, border-to-border to meet with local stakeholders and hear about how we can win a budget that works for them.”

The Border-to-Border Budget Tour will begin on Friday, April 30th, with further details and itineraries for each stop to be released in advance.
